UN Human Rights Council Condemns Iran's Attacks on Gulf States, Demands Immediate Compensation

The UN Human Rights Council has passed a resolution condemning the Islamic Republic's attacks on Gulf countries and demanding immediate and full compensation for victims. The resolution, submitted by Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Jordan, was adopted with the support of members of the 47-member body. It criticizes Tehran's actions in targeting regional countries and attempting to close the Strait of Hormuz, and calls on the Islamic Republic to immediately halt all its attacks. The Human Rights Council described the Islamic Republic's actions in the resolution as "egregious attacks" and emphasized the need for compensation for all individuals harmed in these attacks.
