Hezbollah Chief Warns Negotiating with Israel Means Surrender, Predicts Iran Will Win War

Naim Qassem, Secretary General of Hezbollah, warned that negotiating with Israel while the country is "under enemy fire" means Lebanon's "surrender." He rejected the Lebanese president's proposal for direct negotiations with "an enemy that has occupied our land and attacks daily." Qassem also called on the government to lift the ban on Hezbollah's military activities, stating: "Raising the issue of a weapons monopoly to meet Israel's demands while occupation and aggression continue is a step toward Lebanon's destruction." He emphasized that Hezbollah is ready to continue the war and predicted that Iran will be victorious in its war with America and Israel.
