Precision Strike Hits Basij Base in Isfahan's Sheikh Sadouq Street; Supermarket Owner Reported Killed

Video from Iranian state TV (IRIB) shows the aftermath of a precision strike on Sheikh Sadouq Street in Isfahan on March 13, 2026, at approximately 4:00 PM local time. Eyewitness reports received around 4 PM local time describe a large explosion on Sheikh Sadouq Street near Saadatabad, with the road blocked. Residents reported being unable to return home. Initial reports suggested the target was Bank Mellat in the area, but updates clarify the actual target was the upper floor of the "Sheikh Sadouq Luxury" building, where a Basij (paramilitary) base was reportedly operating under cover of a charity association (انجمن خیریه) adjacent to a supermarket. The supermarket owner is also reported killed. Bank Mellat reportedly sustained minimal damage. Roads between Azadi Square (Shiraz Gate) and Sheikh Sadouq Street were closed following the strike.
