Iranian media have released CCTV footage from a school in Abyek, Qazvin, showing the moment student Mahyar Zangane was killed during the opening day of US-Israeli airstrikes on February 28. The footage shows a telecommunications tower pole, located on a hilltop adjacent to the school, being hurled into the school courtyard by a nearby explosion and striking the student in the head. The timestamp on the CCTV recording corresponds to the 9th of Esfand (February 28), the first day of the joint US-Israel strikes on Iran.
