Trump: US Forces Will Remain in and Around Iran Until Deal Fully Complied With; Threatens Unprecedented Strike if Violated

President Donald Trump posted on Truth Social on Thursday: "All ships, planes, and US military forces, along with additional ammunition, weapons, and whatever is necessary to deliver a deadly blow and destruction to an already severely weakened enemy, will remain in and around Iran until the truly obtained agreement is fully complied with. If for any reason this does not happen, which is very unlikely, then the shooting begins — bigger, better, and more powerful than anything anyone has ever seen." He added: "The deal was agreed upon long ago and, contrary to all false contrary rhetoric, [it was emphasized that]: there will be no nuclear weapons and the Strait of Hormuz will remain open and safe. In the meantime, our great military is re-equipping and resting, and in fact, awaiting its next victories. America is back!"
