Skepticism Over Mojtaba Khamenei Video Message — Compared to Staged Rajavi Communications

A video of a message from Mojtaba Khamenei was distributed via SMS to the Iranian public and then broadcast on Shabake Khabar (state TV news network), showing anchors reading his message aloud. Iranian commentators raised doubts about its authenticity. The original post stated: "They sent an SMS to the people — a full video of Mojtaba's message — then they put on the news network showing them reading his message! Meaning even the video wasn't a real video!" Analyst Vahid commented: "If it's based on a written message, Massoud Rajavi has been sending messages for 20 years" — a reference to the MEK leader who disappeared in 2003 but whose organization continues to release statements attributed to him.
