Multiple Explosions Rock Isfahan — Up to 15 Blasts Reported, Fighter Jets Heard
Reports from Isfahan, Iran describe multiple consecutive explosions beginning at approximately 6:15–6:30 a.m. local time on Sunday, 24 Esfand (March 15). A witness reported hearing at least 10 explosions in the south of Isfahan at 6:20, with fighter jets still audible overhead.
From 6:18 to 6:21, approximately 15 consecutive explosions were heard in northern Isfahan; the exact target was unclear but possibly optical infrastructure.
At 6:17, another witness reported 10 explosions in rapid succession, with at least 3 different points struck. The first explosions came from the direction of 22 Bahman Street and Ghadir Bridge; later strikes appeared directed toward Bagh Kashefi and the Intelligence Ministry building. Over 10 explosions were counted, with 2 more at 6:28.
At 6:29, strikes resumed — the same or nearby positions were hit 3 more times with missiles.
Dense smoke was seen near Kooh Soffeh at 6:15. Two more explosions were reported at 6:30 in northern Isfahan.
