Israeli Air Force Strikes Basij Checkpoints in Tehran, 10 Killed

Radio Farda: The Israeli army on Thursday released video footage announcing that the country's air force has targeted checkpoints in Tehran. In the Israeli army's statement, the air force said it "identified and targeted checkpoints and forces of the Basij unit" at several locations in Tehran, killing Basij members. Israel says these attacks are "deepening strikes on nuclear layers and main infrastructure" of the Iranian government. On Wednesday night, simultaneously with the release of images and reports of widespread drone flights over Tehran's skies, Fars News Agency reported that the drones were targeting government checkpoints in Tehran. The same news agency, which is close to the Revolutionary Guards, then reported that 10 officials were killed during these attacks.
