Iran Internet Blackout Surpasses 576 Hours, Entering 25th Day — NetBlocks

NetBlocks, the independent internet monitoring organization, announced that Iran's internet outage has exceeded 576 hours, marking the Iranian people's entry into the 25th day of internet blackout. The outage during wartime — when citizens' need for security and health alerts is heightened — has posed numerous challenges for internet users in Iran. NetBlocks wrote on its X account: "Iran's internet blackout enters its 25th day after 576 hours, isolating people from the world." The organization also referred to users who use "white line" (خط سفید) to serve as voices for the Islamic Republic government, calling them "government narrative controllers." NetBlocks further wrote: "These actions deprive Iranian citizens of vital updates and hearing voices on the global stage."
