Iran FM Araghchi Defends Internet Blackout on CBS: "I Am the Voice of Iranians"

Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, responding to a CBS anchor who asked why he has internet access while the Islamic Republic has cut internet for ordinary Iranians, said: "I have internet access because I am the voice of Iranians." Araghchi also claimed the Islamic Republic shut down the internet for security reasons, saying Iran is under attack. The Islamic Republic has cut internet access for millions of Iranians for over two weeks during wartime. Meanwhile, officials and a number of government supporters continue to have internet access.
